"I am honored to serve as Commissioner for Ward 5 of the City of Douglas and I thank the citizens of this Ward for allowing me this opportunity. Having worked very closely with many of the department heads and elected officials as Executive Assistant to the City Manager and as Deputy City Clerk, I am excited to be returning in this new role. As a former employee of the City, I feel I have a better understanding of the hard work, dedication to excellence, and commitment to SERVICE our staff must have. These same qualities are essential to our Mayor and Commission. I am committed to improving the quality of life for our citizens and my dream would be to make Douglas the kind of city our children will one day want to return to with their families."
