MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE
Rockdog Entertainment along with Fulco Drugs and Southern Eagle Distributing is proud to present the Friday night concert beginning at 6:30pm with KOA and Laney Strickland Band. Don't miss JJ Grey and Mofro, who will be the music headliner for the South Georgia BBQ & Outdoor Festival!
From the days of playing greasy local juke joints to headlining major festivals, JJ Grey remains an unfettered, blissful performer, singing with a blue-collared spirit over the bone-deep grooves of his compositions. His presence before an audience is something startling and immediate, at times a funk rave-up, other times a sort of mass-absolution for the mortal weaknesses that make him and his audience human. When you see JJ Grey and his band Mofro live—and you truly, absolutely must—the man is fearless. Gates open at 5:30pm, music starts at 6:30pm.

In today’s new economy, budgets have been cut in almost every area, including marketing dollars. In the world of advertising, we are bombarded every day with messages of new and improved products and services. Traditional ads that shout buzz words about how different they are from their competition or why someone should buy something, have lost their impact and prove to be a waste of money. A more effective alternative is becoming an event sponsor.
Benefits of festivals to communities can be exciting, particularly when the draw is from outside of the region. Local vendors, artisans, craftspeople, restaurateurs, hoteliers, and innkeepers are kept busy and may indeed make a large portion of their annual income during the course of a weekend. Mainstreet revitalization can also be a positive economic spin-off from festivals and special events. Appearance improvements made for an annual celebration have year-round benefits and can create stimulus for improved downtown retailing and service industries.
We invite you to invest in the local community of Douglas and Coffee County, by becoming a sponsor today. Please review the event sponsorship opportunities below. Don't like what you see? Make us an alternative offer.

Volunteers - we need your help!!!
With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. The right match can help you find friends, reach out to the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career. Volunteering can also help protect your mental and physical health. One of the better-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together.
With that being said, we need the help of committed volunteers to help carry out the many duties of hosting the South Georgia BBQ & Outdoor Festival in our community. You can help make a difference in the community in which we all live, work, and play, by putting forth some sweat equity hours for this great event.
