1. What is the process a citizen must go through to put a concern on the City Commission meeting agenda?

Come by the city manager's office and fill out a form. Clearly state your purpose for addressing the Commission. We will then advise the Mayor and Commission of your request and report back to you in a timely manner.

2. Who do I need to speak with to file a complaint?

The City of Douglas has a written complaint process. Come to the city manager's office to fill out a complaint form. It will then be forwarded to the appropriate department, who will respond and report back to you. Citizens can also report their concerns online.

3. Who is the city commissioner for my district?

The City of Douglas is divided into six districts, or wards, each of which is represented by a commissioner. Call the city manager's office at (912) 389-3401 or the city clerk's office at (912) 389-3405 and give us your address to find out which commissioner represents your district.
